James Maddison is playing through the pain barrier after Brendan Rodgers revealed Leicester’s star man had needed an injection to face Manchester United last weekend.

The Foxes attacker has been struggling with knee trouble since before the World Cup and revealed on February 15 that he had undergone a scan before the 4-1 win over Tottenham. His training programme is also being managed very carefully.
