Joel Embiid was met with boos almost every time he went to the free throw line Sunday afternoon ... at a Sixers home playoff game.
The Wells Fargo Center sounded like MSG South for most of the Sixers’ 97-92 Game 4 loss to the Knicks. It wasn’t much better during the Sixers’ Game 3 win Thursday where Embiid dropped a playoff career-high 50 points.
It’s been a disappointing atmosphere and certainly not a homecourt advantage. Embiid didn’t hold back postgame.
“I love our fans, but I think it’s unfortunate,” he said. “I’ve been here for 10 years .
